MIMA Rockit Festival
MIMA Rockit Festival 2010
Presented by the Rockit® Music Festival and supported by the Venetian® Macao, MIMA Rockit, will be the first full scale international music and arts festival in the Pearl River Delta since the wildly popular original Rockit Festivals were held in Victoria Park Hong Kong from 2003-2006.
Gary Numan's career spans over 3 decades of not only creating masterpieces like 'Cars' and 'Are 'Friends' Electric' (with Tubeway Army), but pioneering electronic music to a level where a number of major artists including NIN, Dave Grohl (Nirvana and Foo Fighters), Beck, Basement Jaxx and Marilyn Manson have all cited him as a huge influence.
Experimental hip-hop outfit UNKLE was one of the original artists releasing material through noted U.K. label Mo' Wax, which helped launch the instrumental mid-'90s downtempo breakbeat revival eventually termed trip-hop.
Darren Emerson needs no introduction to clubbers worldwide and may be remembered from his days as part of commercially successful electronic outfit, Underworld.
For the Rockit faithful, Electric Eel Shock are back with their brand of Japanese heavy metal and thrilling live show.
